January 4, 2017 | Jon Mostad A book of mine is one of my followers through years - a good fellow. He`s named «1001 WAYS TO ENLIGHTENMENT» and dropped into my pocket for some dollars, in a bookstore in San Anselmo, California, back in 2008. Since then I`ve watched him, but seriously not really read him - may be I never count of his reliability? Up to now. All of a sudden it comes to me, «Jon - what about being Enlightened?» That`ll be great? Thoughts into action - I started reading the book. Within a couple of hours, the book was marked with yellow Post It Tags - poiting out words of laughter and wisdom - let me tell you: Chapter One is about what Enlightenment «is about» - and the first saying that hit me was: «To be free from suffering, desire, and negative emotions: that is enlightenment" following up with «Enlightenment is the harvest time of the mind" and finally poiting out the core by Carl Jung "Enlightenment is not imagining figures of light but making the darkness conscious" - I love it. Easy saying - Heavy wisdom. Predicting a future free from suffering, desire and negative emotions is what I want to attract me and I`m old enough to start the harvesting season of my Lifes Mind - putting this efforts together á la Jung, the rest of my consciousness will awake. Is 2017 coming to me as a year of blessings? «The Path» - Chapter Two, really gives me a bounch forward. «The enlightened soul is fully awake to reality, in all its beauty and complexity, yet untouched by it" supported by the next statement «Enlightenment is a change of consciousness in wich one´s own personal desires are seen in context, as part of a whole, and therefore not overwhelmingly important" ... to be fullfilled with "Enightenment comes when the ego is banished from the mind, and replaced by compassion, wisdom, and skill". What to say...? Is there time enough to me to become fully awake to reality and still untouched ... and to ease my desires so I can join a change in consciousness ... all melted into compassion, wisdom and skill? I wonder An old friend - dead for a thousand of years, though living with me, tells : "Jon - you`re shadowing your real life" Throughout my time on earth - I have been hard working believing I was Me and this is My Life My old friend shakes his head and denies - "you`ve failed, Jon, and delayed your Inherent Life" Confused he calmes me down and explain about my Inherent and Acquired Life How beautiful - I love this dead man Beyond the karmic and sense shaped life I live, there is a beauty within - namely my Inherent Life This life is to be released now - and there is still time When my Accuired Life declines and welcomes my Inherent Life, my Inner I awakens Our Inherent Life has allways been within us waiting for the birds to sing welcoming Dawn - a new day of our Journey Jon

June 8, 2016 |Jon Mostad Surrounded by a city - is it possible to obtain enlightenment? Visiting my favorite pavement café, preparing this blog spot, I feel almost caught by the city`s overloaded ego. People walking with obvious important folders beneath arms, rush past. Unconscious cars are driven in important directions. Buildings provide space for constructed realities. Is it possible to find my path towards enlightenment, surrounded by a city? I think so. Enlightenment refers to the "full comprehension of a situation" and is the state of mind of a Buddha. To become a Buddha, I need to be awaken - an "understanding" being. Someone who is awakened has gained insight into the workings of the mind which keeps us imprisoned in craving, suffering and rebirth, and has also gained insight into the way that leads to Nirvana, the liberation of oneself from this imprisonment. I have a distance to go. Enlightenment comes through development of mind. Development of Mind comes through meditation and right actions. Perhaps the first and most important commandment is precisely to expand my consciousness? But how can I do - expand my consciousness? Dalai Lama says - "develop a greater perspective". How? I enter a greater perspective by being really aware of my internal states of Mind and my external situations of Action. To know my internal states of mind, I need to reflect upon my self and come to insight of my self as situated, not a fixed form. In a way I do not exist, even I exist. I need to get rid of my idea as a permanent and nature given I. To know my external situations of actions, I need to investigate wether they are unintentional. Only unintentional actions do good, in a karmic perspective. I need to get rid of all my intentional actions. When all my actions are unintentionally, I can service in favor of community. From this position of existing but not lasting and acting but not calculating, I can surrender to phenomena and actions without fixations. This is to become enlightened. Silently knowing my impermanence and fixated motives, I move towards The Light. But still I wonder, is this possible surrounded by a city? I think so Jon

Does a "highest form of intelligence excists?" Where do I apply for it? When I wrote my book "IDA - The New Language of Leadership", I had to search for an answer. In former studies of Innovation Management, I stated the language of intuition as "The Beautiful Insight". I imagined there is a way to hear what has no sound, figure what have no form and understand what is not thought. Mothers do. I know. Intuitively they know when to feed their child, go to their bed and pic them up, touch them to balance. How do they know? When I wrote my book "IDA", which is the languages of  Intuition, Discourse, Analysis, I met a profound saying of Jiddu Krishnamurti: "The ability to observe without evaluating is the highest form of intelligence". Krishnamurti`s perspective, caught me. Yes. This is wisdom. This is to be understood. But, please, how is it possible not to evaluate? Just because of my conditioned mind, I am a succees. I can read what is wrong, optimal and dangerous. This is a winning conscious and cognitive capacity given to Man through evolution. Alongside studies of books that has come to me through years, I met Buddha`s teachings about The Five Clusters of Clinging. Something happened to me. A sort of understanding arose.  The text told me to get rid of: 1: The Cluster of Clinging to Form... 2: The Cluster of Clinging to Feeling... 3: The Cluster of Clinging to Perception… 4: The Cluster of Clinging to Construction… 5: The Cluster of Clinging to Consciousness… The Cluster of Clinging to Form is about my focus on "the body of my world" - internally and externally The Cluster of Clinging to Feeling is about my obsessions of being pleased, feeling pain and ignorance The Cluster of Clinging to Perception is about my  momentarily responses to my six senses The Cluster of Clinging to Construction is about my fixated passion for intending, wanting, worrying The Cluster of Clinging to Consciousness is about my addicton to all that is seen, touched and cognized Cluster of Clinging means an assemblage, collection, group or knot of a tightly adhering collection of variegated attachment! There is nothing here ‘outside’ or ‘apart’ from these clusters of clinging, neither internally, nor externally! The cause of clinging is craving. The effect of clinging is becoming. Woaw! There is really a "Highest form of Intelligence" - my ability to observe without evaluating... Jon

My starting point as Awakener is that we are a Soul. Our Lifes Process takes the form of a descent from Spirit to the Physical Matter and an ascent back to Spirit when life is completed. The power that guides you back to the Spirit can be identified. This is a way to live your life in harmony with the Spiritual power that wants to lift you - if it gets access to your life. This is partly what Awakening is about and what I do together with my students. Imagine your life as a river. River water causes sand and gravel at the mouth of the ocean. If the ocean is not able to remove the sand and gravel, the river build a DELTA, such as the Nile River does. Consider that your life as a mathematical equation. When mathematicians want to influence the equational result, they add a differential operator - a DELTA. You know the Greek alphabet? The fourth letter is a triangle - a DELTA. The triangle is also the symbolic form where the «Father, Son and Holy Spirit», is explained. Precise the way the ancient Egyptian Esoterics did. The force that push you through life and returns you to the Spirit, is a differential operator that allows you to build your life in accordance with your Life`s Purpose. You can identify, strengthen and collaborate your Evocational Source - your DELTA. How is that possible? Through life, the Soul who resides within your physical body and connect you to the sphere of The Great Spirit, manage from time to time to by-pass your ego and put its «boots on the ground». This foot prints of The Soul, are what I reveal through a guided tour through life from early child hood. It is an amazing process and gives the one who pass through, an experience of coming home. The DELTA is a triangle with three angle corners, what I call The Three Faces of The Soul. They consider of compiled and chunked energy words - or better to say «energy beings», as this it what it is. This energy beings are identified through an «bodily archeological excavation». It is an amazing process. When the DELTA is identified, it can be understood and integrated in your senses and consciously activated in your daily lifes action. After having «listened to the birds singing within you telling you to awake», like a solar ascension after the death of the night, and you have decided to start up your awakening, this identificational process is the next significant step you pass through in awakening. February 10, 2016 | Jon Mostad “Have patience. Wait until the mud settles and the water is clear. Remain unmoving until right action arises by itself.” Lao Tzu The notion that we descend on Earth to ascend in Spirit, fascinates me. As long as I consider descendens into the world of Physic and ascendens into the world of Spirit, like a beautiful story and not necessarily link it to a particular religious explanation, it is a fluent educational tool in my work of awakening.. The idea that we all come from the Great Spirit and will return to the Great Spirit, is beautifully explained by the Theosophy. However, when and how do we awake and understand that we are on a spiritual journey? What is it that wakes us from the meta-physical sleep and alerts the spiritual day to come, like the birds alerts sun long before we humans can glimpse the first streaks of light? What does the birds know about the sun to come? What is within you and me, telling us that we should awake and embark on our spiritual development in an alert mind? I have an idea. Awakening - what a powerfully word ! But, what is Awakening about? When time come, we awake to a new self-awareness and expanded consciousness, through a process of Dawn. The birds within you, start singing and alert you - time to awake form the cleansing darkness of the night and time to turn in to a new born day under guidance of the Sun - the God Ra. Awakening is to enter into a new, larger version of yourselve. The journey back to The Great Spirit starts and involves, among other themes, arrivel at this larger version of your selve. When I teach and guide in processes of awakening, I use mental imagery and oral narratives. Words are my spiritual helpers. A term I often need to dwell in and explore along with my students, is the word Spirituality. Many notions, prejudices and denials are related to the term Spirituality. I really would like to wish that I could give you a simple definition and explanation of what Spirituality means and inflects. The more I seek to understand, explain and describe the concept of Spirituality, the more unsure of a final definition I become. Despite so, I continue to look and reflect. Spirituality independently imaged from all religious framework, set up for modernity and futures to come, is a must for beings of today. Spirituality given in a modern form, easily to communicate and to put into motion, is the key word of Awakening and to a life in balance with your purpose. My task, within my limitations, is to form a picture of Spirituality of to day. That picture to come is an important concept to build Awakeningprogram upon, given to those who feel "the birds sang within". Such a moderne picture of Spirituality will affect multiple levels of our life on Earth - the physical, astral (emotional) and mental levels. It is most important because we have started the great move in to an age of mankind where old myths are resurrected, in new forms and with new motion frequencies. The heart's intelligence will evolve to become our dominant brain, and we will evolutionarily be challenged to rethink our lives to fill them with greater meaning when the "material explanation» no longer is consciously sustainable. In such a construction, I struggle to shape a definition of Spirituality that modern man can relate to, where we are, still in a material matrix. If I should be very strict with myself and require a definition which is detached from the religious and paranormal context, now, I would reply: "Spirituality in the human realm, is a state of consciousness where the Universe's most love-filled and symbolic insight is manifested in the most concrete action using the physical body as its choosen vehicle." Awakening is to enter the portal of Spirituality to become an extended You - performing the Universe`s most love-filled and symbolic insight through implementation of your Life`s Purpose. To do so, we all need guidance - this is not a matter of single doing. Jon

Around my neck I wear a simple necklace in a red thread. For some years now this necklace has followed me from Varanasi, Shivas town at Ganges, home to Norway. The guru who gave me the necklace explained that "the brahman has blessed it", and it can be felt. The necklace is formed by a circle holding two pyramids. The intersection between the descending and ascending pyramid, is holding a red crystal. Today I know that the circle symbolizes the whole, rebirth and eternity. The pyramid is the symbol for the three aspects of creation; Image, Movement and Consciousness. The downward pyramid symbolizes the human Soul descending into form; Involution. The ascending pyramid symbolizes The Soul's way back to its formless life of The Spirit, evolution itself. I should like to know what the red crystal symbolizes, although I have a notion. Maybe you can help me? The point of the story of the necklace's is about understanding Involution and Evolution. Man as Soul is spiritual and atomic created to seek descent into substance, in the physical fabric. The only way our Soul can earn it`s own development is through entanglement in fabric in a physical world where it can make up it`s experiences. Earth is predicted to be one of the strongest planetary places in the universe for involution, because of the strong gravity. Life on earth in a physical body for a soul, is highly cost- effective, if you look at the incarnation as an investment. From the perspective of The Soul, a lifetime is a short happening, mostly like a dip into water and then up again. Within this short dip, The Soul has to earn it`s experience and pay off as much karmic debth as possible. This symbolic picture gives meaning to me and is a part of my teachings. Much of the fallacy of the modern world is a result of that we live so separated from the opportunities of the myths, from a symbolic language and creative power of spirituality in our  lives. Various spiritual explanations and religious groups are doing what they can to quench thirst and relieve pain. But for man today, the evolvement from the early analog to the modern analytical way of thinking,  kept a very few of the old symbols and narratives, as  keys to insight. Too bad, we might say, but our consciousness is where it is and should be, until evolution again will develope our analogical way of reflection into a much more extended level than ever since. This time will come. Quite normal for most of us, life's purpose is focusing on the physical and material gratification. Our spiritual life`s purpose is about enlightenment. In a material western world, a life in enlightenment is difficult to attain. We are blinded and blocked by the senses` need of satisfaction, moreover we have forgotten how we can understand and open up the mythical aspects of the wonderful life that awaits. I almost do not dare dream about what the world will look like the day people know their spiritual life purpose and find their way forward to the Light. Confusion and despair will dissolve by itself and peace will follow. "Dawn" - a new way towards self awarness and expanded consciousness is a path way developed through years of considerations and teachings, which gives me hope. Berkeley University in San Francisco, the frame is a Sufi Eve, the year is 2008. The atmosphere is relaxed friendly, inclusive and hopeful. Today I think we as an ordience, must have been perhaps as many as 2,000 people, present. The celebration takes place a beautiful autumn evening, in a lovely dressed auditorium. This ceremony proved to be continued by a night without sleep to me. This is the backdrop. I am visiting Institute of Noetic Sciences in Petaluma, to follow The New Equations program "The Physical Expression Of The Soul". The journey from Norway to San Francisco  has taken me 16 hours and I'm strongly affected by jet leg. The morning after arrival began as something completely different and absolutely contraindicated, rigidly materialistic, in comparison to what will end up in a deeply touching Sufi Celebration this evening: In the small but very charming town of San Anselmo, I have found myself a professional and welcoming facility where my disoriented head and swollen feet were massaged. An attempt to befriend my jet leg. I pay and go, but stops... A welcoming brochure on the counter, invites to 'Unfold Your Inner I" at a Sufi Celebration at Berkley, in the evening same day. I got stuck. This invitation holds on to me - and I know when such a feeling talks, it is my 5th Dimention of Consciousness, my intuition, that speeks to me. I decided to accept the invitation. The celebration turned on to be a presentation of the peaceful and wonderful messages carried out by the Sufi tradition. The Berkley professor, who this evening led us through the ceremonie, including a guided meditation for everyone in the auditorium, initiated the program with the following emphasis that should come to keep me awake this following night: "The West has the best schools for the head - but no schools for the heart". Night comes, and I become present, turning around in my bed without sleep - "no schools for The Heart". This great man is right! At dawn after a restless night,  I release my last attempt to sleep and get up." I'll build a school for the heart", come clear to me. Since then, I have been on the move.
