  • DAWN

When dawn sparks the first light of the day life in one sense is restarted again. The light and warmth gives energy to all beings. A new cycle has been born. From another angle you could also transform the physical act of sun and..... ....light is emerging at Dawn into an awakening of an increased level of consciousness. The Dawn of a personal transformation from one level of consciousness to a higher one. A transformation needed in the rapidly changing world we all are part of. I will come back to that later in the article. I came to the conclusion that I needed to do something else with my life. Do something that was really meaningful and that would also benefit other human and other beings. I had a bunch of ideas that I started up with but it did not spark inside. I found out that the experiences I have gathered through life needed a boost to another level, a level of increased consciousness to make it possible to fulfill my, at the moment, idea and make it come alive. Fortunately I happened to meet a person that could give me some guidance where to start the journey to an increased consciousness. One that made it possible to review my own experiences in life that could be of importance on the journey. A journey still going on, and one that will continue through my life. The first step involved to get to know myself in a much deeper way than before, really looking into who I am and what I have been doing through my life. All of it, good and bad, without judging my actions. Become aware of my self as a human being, become aware of my inner wishes, get in contact with inner senses connected to what I have been and wishes, still not manifested. Finding out which my inner characteristics really are. Reflect over how I actually live them out, and also finding out if I do not.

Sort them into manifested characteristics and desired ones. Feel the difference of the two in my body. I could feel a new awareness of who I am starting to emerge. Find out that there are many more angles and aspects, yet not used. Aspects of myself, on a higher level, that could be reached during the process. This gave Dawn a complete new meaning for me. The dawn of a higher I glimpses on the horizon. My guide introduced me to areas of myself, and the surrounding environment, not known to me before. At least not from a conscious point of view. I am body, mind and soul and all three parts exist side by side. All of this has been part of my awakening process. Acknowledging that there is a higher I, or my soul hidden for me. For me this was mind blowing. Sorted and transformed into three areas, each one containing a sentence or word combined with three additional wordings. A hint of what my future could contain, a hint about things that until now has been hidden for me. The three areas related to each other, but also expressing a specific and different aspect. They formed a triangle, or the greek letter Delta. My soul or higher I has guided me to find out my personal Delta expressed through the phrase: “My life is about being…” The dead tree - Everything between heaven and earth, Black still water and Dark granite Broom with birch twigs - Welding work, Sew the shirt and Created willow flute IDA - Street sweeper, Saw and heard things and The real forest At first it seemed completely nonsense, no information whatsoever, but somehow they initiated a spark of curiosity, and also initiating a growing understanding. It was a kind of awakening, a feeling of connection with my soul. The expressions where three different faces of my soul. The combination of the three aspects would help me to create the purpose of my life. What has been ment for me to do with my life. The big question was how to get hold of it. My guide challenged me by asking me to conduct a story telling about the image.A story telling affecting all senses, even finding out that thought itself actually is a sense , of the receiver. ”Do not push, let it come to you”, he said. And it did. First I tried to tackle it by logic and failed. I had to let it happen within my body and mind without interfering. Suddenly I had a clear image of what I should do from now on. A very strong moment, explaining what it is all about. ,

The image needed to be transformed into a view of my future and how to get there. Create a plan of how to accommodate my actions to the new reality. My guide helped me initiate my work to transform my image of the future into an action plan in the normal three dimensional life. A plan with actions to conduct to move towards the new direction. The impact on myself has been great. I have a new direction that I am working towards, incorporating experiences that could be beneficial and leaving others as they have finished their service. Building new experiences and characteristics needed to work in the new direction with high credibility. The road is not a strait one, and not one without work either. One step, a hard one, is to identify each and every piece of thing that actually has been, and some still are, in the way for me to reach my new destination. Or at least to the destination I have put forward right now. An exercise that ended up in a situation where I found 53 different things that could stop me in my work. Things that where transformed from blurry statements over to hindering statements and again transferred into possibilities. Things clearly stated and each and everyone requiring actions from myself. The work is still ongoing and will continue to do so for the rest of my life. As my consciousness is developing, at least that is my view, there will be a tuning of my view of the destination. A tuning that will spark awareness of new hinders that need to be transformed into possibilities that in turn has to become a new set of actions. Now let's move back to the question of why I think that why we have to increase our consciousness. A lot of changes is occurring in our world, on our planet. They happen rapidly and contain dramatic impact to ourselves and to our environment. We have challenges with global environmental impact, pollution, polarization and possible impact of the ongoing technological development. Challenges that need solutions in the very short term to make it possible for us to hand over a viable world to the coming generations. Albert Einstein once said ”“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.” To be able to find solutions we need to expand our consciousness to find answers from another angle. For my own development I found that the way I have been using was not sufficient enough. I had fragments of a new way to handle personal development, but not a consistent inner image. After I started my journey I now have a clear view of what I want to accomplish and also a dynamic plan with quite clear picture of how to get there. I am convinced that the way will offer new possibilities to a shift in mindset. Be conscious Ulf Our self-image around our characteristics might have some biases. Being honest with yourself can be very hard as well as being honest with other people. Asking a good friend or a honest colleague can give you a hint. Reflect and view yourself with a new set of glasses. Words are beings in a sense of energy and influence. The same word is translated very differently by almost every person. Listen and feel the word, taste it and try to understand the intention from the sender. Dare to ask if you have got it right. Find you inner purpose and depict it for yourself. Let it sink into your body and mind, let it be your guide and map. Imagine possible ways to move towards your inner image. Be aware of that there always are multiple ways to come to a destination. • What does the seed know?

An acorn is dropped into the ground from a branch of the oak. It knows what to do without anyone spelling it out for it. It knows how to develop roots that seeks its way down into the soil. It knows how to interact with the life below, the interaction with the fungal mycelium. It just knows. Then it raises its sprout towards the sky. It knows that it will become an oak, a part of a forest together with other oaks, trees and plants. How can this be? Where is all information stored? Where is the blueprint for the acorn hidden? Is it in the DNA of the acorn? We know that all living species has some kind of DNA that describes what to become. But where is the information of how to interact with the surrounding environment? Let us try to find some answers to the questions raised. A journey that will take us into the quantum world. Today we know that the smallest entities we know about, that is visible in time-space, in the quantum domaine, is very coherent. Particles responds to other particles and are interconnected particle to particle. The phenomena is known under the name Entanglement. In the beginning it was assumed that this could only occur in situations with very low temperatures and only at lowest possible level. Entanglement on higher levels would create a situation of decoherence. Today we have found out that this view is not correct. We know that it occurs on higher system levels and we know that a living being need to be coherent to survive and to be able to develop itself. The organism shows coherence with itself and with the surrounding environment. The level of coherence of a viable being with all of its molecules, cells and different organs is almost unrivaled. The coherence that occurs at quantum correlations is not limited to the organism itself, it also occurs between organisms. Seen from a higher perspective it is clear that an active and continuous interaction between the organism and its surrounding biosphere in the coherence domain level is a foundation for life itself. Even an uncomplicated organism has a genetic structure very complex and an adaptation to surrounding environment that is very delicate. An adaptation that could not occur without a high degree of coherence between the genetic and the epigenetic parts that defines and guides the organism. When we look in to the evolution of complex species or organisms we find that t a species genotype ( the species heredity) is not isolated from its phenotype (how it is expressed through the organism). ”A genotype is an individual's collection of genes. The term also can refer to the two alleles inherited for a particular gene. The genotype is expressed when the information encoded in the genes' DNA is used to make protein and RNA molecules. The expression of the genotype contributes to the individual's observable traits, called the phenotype.”The genotype and the phenotype is an integrated system that is coordinated with the surrounding environment. During the evolution of the world as we know it, and of life itself, we can add a new phrase - sensitive interaction. During this phase of evolution a kind of perception was evolving. Alfred North Whitehead called it ”prehension” in the meaning of apprehend or perceive something.
All entities perceives all other entities as a kind of mutual perception. This kind of perception does not require any sensory organs, on the contrary it is more of an expression of built in coherence between the elements in the system. Today we know that this kind of primal perception can be found among all living beings. With establish knowledge around this we can say that organisms that has developed nervous system actually can apprehend the in two completely different ways. One via the nervous system and another one via the coherence created through resonance within the quantum field. The development of earth and life has moved along a way of continual development of increased coherence. First in the form of entanglement, the via basic irritability between elements through primal perception into a more steadily expressed perception. Prehension on higher levels is expressed as perception. One part is perceives the other parts and can also perceive itself as a part of the surrounding world. Now let us turn back to the acorn and the questions raised in the beginning of this text. We have found out that the acorn has part of its blueprint built in its DNA and that this is expressed through the acorns genotype and phenotype. We have also found out that there is an interaction between all the elements within the acorn seed. An interaction of coherence performed on the quantum level. But this is not all, we also found out that this kind of interaction, on the quantum level, occurs between the elements within the acorn and the entities in the surrounding environment. That there is a coherence between the different elements from one type of being with other types of beings. This will, just as an expression, to be coherent with surrounding elements seem to be a fundamental part of development. As the acorn seed starts to grow to become an oak tree we know that the tree perceives the surroundings, both by its sensory systems as well as with its elements on quantum level. As a part of a forest the oak even communicates with other oaks and trees when exposed to pests. So there is little doubt that we will find out how this occurs within the human beings. But there are two questions without an indication of a clear answer. First - where is all information about the seed stored? - and second - where is the information of how to interact with the surrounding environment stored? Questions not easy to answer. The first one is partly answered with DNA and its expression. But it is more focused on the acorn in this example. How to interact and to adapt to different environments and surroundings might not be stored there. There are suggestions for the second question but it will take another article to even start to describe a plausible answer. It will be published later on. Be conscious Ulf

  • TALENT - TECHNOLOGY - TOLERANCE

Buddha, oil and a Norwegian professor of sociology, where do they have a common meeting point? Talent-Technology-Tolerance makes the connection and perhaps the article points in an unknown path to the future of man? Let me start with Norway You are familiar with Norway? The country that was Europe's poor hunting and fishing nation that first saw modernity with the brutal occupation during World War II and which became Europe's ruling rich country from the mid-1970s. In the year 2005, the Norwegian professor Ivar Frønes writes the book The Different Country: On the future and development trends in Norway. I will let you know what relation this book has on this article, in a minute. I continue with oil At school one early day before Easter in 1968, my teacher solemnly announces that oil has been found in the North Sea and that we will now see major changes in our country. At that time, my father had to write his name on the waiting list to get a phone installed in our house. Norway was poorly developed, poor but at the same time a well-functioning democracy. Oil created Norway a very rich and technologically highly developed welfare state. I round off with Buddha Buddha means enlightenment and is a title. With evolution, we will all become Buddhas, it will only take some time. In the meantime, we can add strength in an attempt to increase the pace. I believe in this effort. Buddhism, which is a path of development towards greater enlightenment, can help you sort out your thoughts and feelings. One of the stages along the way is getting rid of The Five Clusters of Clinging. Please note, I am no buddhist and do not preach buddhism to you, I just pay respect. Then I'm ready for the text The norwegian professor points out that Norway is a rich country, but he questions what choices the country must make to meet the uncertainty of the future. Wealth is no guarantee of successful development. One of his points is that even though Norway's wealth is large today, knowledge is the key to the future. Innovations, research and development of society depend on the knowledge choices that are made. The American professor of economics, Richard Florida, coined the term The Creative Class (2002) by pointing to so-called creative people as business entrepreneurs. Florida claims that the key to future development lies in the 'creative' part of the population and where the core consists of artists, writers, film directors, actors, musicians, dancers, photographers, IT specialists, technologists, journalists, architects, teachers, researchers, business leaders , financiers, lawyers and doctors. This composite group has certain common features that unite the group across and which are expressed by the group acting creatively. Florida brings together the common features of the Three T's: Talent, Technology, Tolerance. Talent, Technology, Tolerance are the common features of the creative group, according to the American professor. The Norwegian professor, refers to the three T's, in his reflections on what may be the key to the future - the key is not money earned by extraction and sale of oil, but through the development of knowledge, and in the development of knowledge the three stand the qualities of talent, technology and tolerance, as key qualities. How does this relate to Buddhism's teachings about The Five Clusters of Clinging? I will immediately take my reasoning further, but first I will make it clear that I can not adequately address the thoughts of Florida and at the same time I will point out that his views have been both criticized and countered. Nevertheless, the idea of the Three T's is useful to me as a pedagogical tool in my text. The Five Clusters of Clinging is a central doctrine of Buddhism. Since I am not a Buddhist and in no other way a particular connoisseur of the Buddha's teachings, I will here also confine myself to using the doctrine as a pedagogical tool. The Five Clusters of Clinging is the path a Buddhist can follow to walk The Eight Folded Way which is another central doctrine in Buddhism. I am fascinated by The Five Clusters of Clinging as they speak a simple and clear language to me. All in all, the doctrine is about freeing myself from notions that slow down my development and my opportunities to be able to choose a preferred future scenario. I'll get rid of clinging to: Material forms - the separation of my own world from others Mental emotions - thoughts like pain Mental perceptions - the forms of the senses, past, present, future, small and large Mental constructions - structure and classes Consciousness - the six sensory intelligences Here and there, I need the help of the two professors, along with the teachings of the Buddha. The Norwegian professor points out that tolerance is more than a value in itself; it has the function of opening up the interplay between production, culture and creativity. This is where creativity is formed. Tolerance is the key to the journey of knowledge that can lead humans toward future. Humans can not buy a place in the future. The space must be developed by knowledge that is unlocked by tolerance. Through tolerance, people free themselves from limiting sensory experiences, separation, thoughts, feelings, perceptions and structures. This is how the future path for humans is created. Good trip! • MENS SANA IN CORPORE SANO

One cannot eat well, dine well or read well when one's focus shifts from one spot to another, a sort of monkey thinking climbing from one limb to another. The Latin phrase “Mens sana in corpore sano”.... ....point towards the ancient Greek wisdom spoken as “Kalos kai aghathos” - a target in balanced education of body and spirit - so now you are introduced to ancient wisdom in three languages! Welcome to my world of futures - my name is Seyran Maryam Khalili. My profession takes place within a matrix of theory-based innovations in public service, leadership development and cross-cultural communication. Post-graduate alumna and associate from Kings College I’m well grounded with social science and have for a time felt a longing to fly back to “the carpets of Persia”, more accurate the mountains of Kurdistan, where my birth took place. Perhaps not so surprising that my article is about balance between body and soul, and that I see this balance as the future path for Man? Let’s get started During this autumn I have been much engaged in books about spirituality, meditation and yoga. According to Cybele Tomlinson “Yoga is about clearing away whatever is in us that prevents our living in the most full and whole way. With yoga, we become aware of how and where we are restricted -- in body, mind, and heart -- and how gradually to open and release these blockages. As these blockages are cleared, our energy is freed. We start to feel more harmonious, more at one with ourselves Old myths about faith, focus, balance Our lives begin to flow -- or we begin to flow more in myths about faith, focus, balance are still applied today, but somehow in another sense and fashion in the world of academia. If one tries to associate the phrases one could think of them as being used in the sense of the three knowledges about motivation, concentration and planning. We are always reminded to be motivated to read, but somehow one is never reminded about why we have to study to gain our knowledge. Do we need the knowledge? For what purpose? Instead of being reminded about the core of science, students today are motivated towards other purposes or the old "pass your exam". Further on, having focus is shifted with the importance of concentration. I was amazed the first time I meditated, how unbelievably one can silence the mind and shift focus towards doing one thing at the time and indulge yourself in it. However, whenever someone tells me to concentrate, I get nearly nauseated by the thought of having to stare in a book for the next 3 hours. Last but not least, in the notion of balance, the old myths remind us that we have to be in balance with the soul and our surrounding. Meaning that the outside world shouldnt get in away of having a balanced life with the self. In modern times this can be seen as the act of planning, strategy and procedure - every part of the process should be in total fit with the overall plan. We are only relaxed when up to some degree every part of the plan we lay out is in order and place - hopefully parts of it always does. After being introduced to these old myths, their knowledge has served me well about the spiritual part of live itself. How it confines with our perception and how we as individuals each serve a purpose in life while we also inhibit an entire universe placed inside us that gives us that purpose. Interestingly enough, I am again reminded that society and individuals live in a dynamic process, where the one is nothing without the other. Lost in the process of modernization? Modernization has become a way of expression. Its a known fact that today we can all choose between different lifestyles and how we wish to express our way of living. In this sense, the only way to live an inspired life is to completely surrender all the objects, people and inspirations that comes along the way. By the time I was 15 years old, I had already lived in 3 continents and spoke 4 languages. The backdrop of my early childhood were spent during the Islamic revolution and the Iran/Iraq war (first 3 years of my life), the refugee movement and United Nations refugee camp travelling from borders of Turkey to Norway were the next phase of my life (one year of my life, the age of 4), while at last ending up exploring the pop-culture and HipHop movement of the 90´s in Norway became the last formative years of my upbringing. I will call these phases of incarnation Rumi, Sartre and Tupac. Because of this journey, many whom have been introduced to modernity from a background of industrial/semi-modern lifestyles, can relate to the feeling of exploring the self, identity and the conceptualization of Home.' Who shall I be - here? ' is a question expressing many of the thoughts that come along this unique journey. To live we need to die This brings me to notes of the English classic novel “Odur of Chrysanthemums" by D.H. Lawrence. It was during my 1.st semester studying english literature at the University of Stavanger. The reason why I start out by recalling the first time I read it, is because I had to re-read the short story several times to really indulge on what the emphasis was about. The theme of the short story is in general an isolation of the human soul but also the nature of love. A passage I really loved was when Elizabeth, the protaganist of the story, sees her husband lying on the floor just passed away; She looked at his naked body and was ashamed, as if she had denied it. . . . She looked at his face, and she turned her own face to the wall. For his look was other than hers, his way was not her way. She had denied him what he was—she saw it now. She had refused him as himself. . . . She was grateful to death, which restored the truth. And she knew she was not dead. To awake we need to be asleep The reason why I brought up this specific short story, is because I have just finished Zygmunt Baumans book, "The Individualized Society". First it was Marx, then Durkheim then Bourdieu, then Bernstein - now its maybe Baumans time to impact sociology for a while until the next scholar comes and dashes him out? Anyhow - although Bauman is now becoming more and more read by scholars of social sciences, in my opinion he really has a good understanding of practical sociology in the modern era.  The community, sais Bauman, has for long lost its empowerment to give the people what is has claimed; security, stability and guidance.  Individuals seek security in an insecure world. Bauman emphasized his thoughts of the missing community in his article. In this article he mentions how the impact of modern times give rise to voluntarily ghettos in communities, specifically in big cities. This is an upcoming trend where people seek security and identification rather than creation of the self  (- as opposition to Anthony Giddens thoughts of cultural reflexivity and disembedding of social norms). Security through homogeneity; trust in mutual thought and morals within the framework of their local communities. Could it be that we as individuals feel isolated and un-identified in the realm of the community? Chrysanthemums in literary terms usually symbolize death. This being said, just like it only occurred to Elizabeth on her husbands death bed that she had denied her husband to be what he was, are we also denied what we really are by the walls confided by our communities? The beloved future hides within your esoteric heart We keep looking for the right moment. The silver lining where you ascend to your dreams and you experience that burst of happiness. When the indulgent moment you´ve been waiting for all your life flashes before your eyes. When that moment happens – and it doesn't turn out the way you wish it to be, your whole world is transformed. You realize the ground beneath you is shifted. Things are uncertain. And there's no turning back. The world around you is different now. Unrecognizable. And there's nothing you can do about it. You´re stuck. The future´s staring you in the face and there´s nothing you can do about it. Why do we keep fighting for these unreal impressions and why not start embrace the real ones? Beneath waves of emotions, our impressions are the ones close to our hearts. Its these impressions that bully us. Makes our hearts bounce and that keeps our spirit up. These fleeting moments in our minds keep pushing us to our ledge and as we ascend this stairway we keep looking back to see how far we´ve comed. Up here where it all floats, we thoss a dice and hope the future door will knock open as we stand infront of it. Thank you for your attention my friend Seyran Caption 1 Our lives begin to flow -- or we begin to flow more in myths about faith, focus and balance. These myths are still applied today, but somehow in another sense and fashion in the world of academia. If one tries to associate the phrases one could think of them as being used in the sense of the three knowledges; a space where motivation meets concentration and planning occurs as a result. Caption 2 Modernisation has become a way of expression. Between the desire and the spasm, falls the scapegoat of modernism. First, the price we pay where value of humankind is equal to tech-savviness and second the all consuming powerful and worthy divine: nothingness - our new goddess. Observing the act of the scapegoat, we will se the full possibility of surrendering to nothingness, in hopes of achieving the greater good. Bridging the rigid division between purpose and achievement into flux , this means that a return to our core questions, lost in modernity boils down into what we witness….a continues reinvention, spinning the wheels around a broken framework. By leaving the myths, we received modernity - what did we loose in the midst of all this and what do we now reach towards? Caption 3 Perhaps you have heard of the difference between the story and the isness? The angel of history was able to see history for what it is. The angel of history was propelled into the future by storm, naming this progress. The storm prohibited the angel from staring into the past any longer than necessary - launching him into the inevitable future. With inability of closing its wings and gaze back, this too became a foe for the angel was given too little time to reflect on the destruction caused in his wake. We connect our story to a journey purposefully driven towards a direction. We comfortably understand time as linear, as a dimension presented to us providing the visual and abstract mediation we need to place ourselves in the here and now. Beyond this manifestation and understanding of self, is the second dimension: space. Perhaps beyond our imagination lies what what we can see as far as the horizons in the futures - but also from our past as reanimated in our present. Our past and the story we built is a progression into the future. We need reflection, and we need more than ever to stop the broken record of time to avoid mindless carrying our flaws into the present and future. • NAIVETY IS THE MOST OPEN STATE

Maybe you do not agree? Think about it… When you are naive, you are maximally open, like an infant reaching out his arms to his mother and expecting to be carried in her safe arms. Mom does too ... usually. Being so open is not appealing to an adult. Then "I" will be vulnerable and weak, someone would probably think and that is also true, but that is not the whole truth. It becomes a kind of truth because we live in a society where there has been a superficial ideal of being "perfect" and having success. Then you should preferably seem strong, smart and skilled without necessarily being… Personally, I think it makes more sense to want to be whole instead of perfectionism as a superficial ideal. So what kind of truth do I want to express that is greater? Children allow themselves to be happy. Of course, they get sad sometimes, but it is clear that it is most natural for them to be maximally open, playful and being who they are. Think of the Bible's creation account with Adam and Eve. They are a happy couple until they have eaten of the tree of knowledge. Only then do they notice they are naked. Their naked bodies represent their true selves (soul). The clothes are the ego. Their “facade”. The ones they think they are. Once they have put on their clothes, they cannot stay in Paradise. They must wander until one day they can return to the Garden of Eden. In our part of the world we have become so strong in logic that we have "forgotten" the emotions. The mental world seems more stable. We seek material security in the form of money, power and sex. Something violent often has to happen for us to dare to change our lives. A love affair, a traffic accident, illness, financial bankruptcy, etc. So how can we return to paradise? As I see it, we have to face our ego. The danish song artist Lis Soerensen writes about a love affair with the song - My eyes they must see. “My eyes they must see. look at what they want to see. Look so deep that you don't exist. And though love makes blind. These is Where they find your soul...” A man in love gets naivety back. The boyfriend and girlfriend look through each other's egos to the real feelings. What I call honest love. Love can only grow if it is based on honesty and love. Real love gives life meaning. It makes us whole together. It is the reason most of us are born. Once the infatuation is over, the ego will occasionally show up and create problems. The more you get your will, the harder it is for honesty. All my best to you Lars Echardt

  • FROM THE GARDEN OF EDEN TO AN EMPTY COSMOS

On the earthly surface of a blue water planet, Man travels alone in a dark cosmos. Where does Man come from and where is he going? What is self and what is consciousness of Man? The questions are many, difficult to find answers to and at the same time necessary to be spoken out. Travelling with thought FUTURES OF MAN aims to "travel where few dare". Our way of traveling is with thought. If quantum physics' notions of entanglement are correct, then thought travels faster than light. If this is true, the thoughts in this text will reach my affected readers even at the far end of the Universe, simultaneously. An exploding performance. At the beginning of the theories of the metaphysical universe, which began with Albert Einstein, his thesis was "the consciousness that has created a problem does not solve the problem". Whether humanity has "problems" or not is both a political and a scientific question. I'm not trying to answer that question, I'm trying to think "what if I give my own evolution a push behind"? Can I reach further at a greater speed in a more meritorious way if I try to construct new self-insight and expanded consciousness for myself? If this is possible, and we were more about that effort, where would that lead us? This is exactly how Futures of Man thinks. If you read the article for January 2021, "Reconnect with nature and Mother Earth" written by my editorial colleague, Ulf Kurkiewicz, you can see how Futures of Man thinks future for man. By reading our texts, thinking our thoughts and creating your own, you are helping to build new opportunities for humans on their journey through the Universe. Philosophy of the possible futures for humanity In a series of texts, I seek to form a story that is understandable - a story of how Man stepped out of nature and established himself in his own being. A discovery guided by evolution, whose purpose is the development of the sensing and conscious universe. Technological development, a side of human evolution, offers humans a challenge in the form of superior artificial intelligence, freed from emotion and rational in its being. Will humans survive as independent individuals with an accelerating artificial intelligence that challenges? If so, what's the matter? Where is Man's place in the creation of the future? Let's see if the answer exists. The pre-historical Man was one with nature. Man shared the being with nature and was a co-creator of nature as power and myth. Man did not have insight into himself as an individual and conscious being, but was prisoned in a context with nature he could not explain. Human history should not continue this way. With the millennia, evolution lifted Man out of the totem community with the tribe and into a beginning self-based on the individual as the subject. Slowly Man rose out of the clan and became his own construction and conscious in his own mental notions and choices. Even the magnificent Roman culture saw itself as a clan community where the individual did not exist. The price Man had to pay to leave the fellowship with nature, "The Great Mother", cultivated as the female deity, the incarnation of the very life force as the prerequisite for the maintenance of life, became a journey in solitude into a dark and cold cosmos, abandoned and jailed in an infinity of emptiness. Where is the path back to “The Great Mother” and why is the journey required? I try to find the journey first, then I will take care of the answers. When Man left Nature Man moves out of nature, a necessary action to establish himself as an individual construction of the self and for the establishment of an analytical consciousness. The journey towards modernity begins with the fragmentation of nature as a deity, separated from Man. The deity becomes immortal, but nature and Man remain mortal. The oneness of the divine was transformed in the form of sub-deities; some humans took their place with the gods, such as pharaohs. Such a view develops a new understanding of death as the eternal rebirth to which the Universe is also subject. Death becomes an illusion, a rest, a cycle of nature. "The Great Mother" is no longer a myth or deity, but rebirth as a principle of nature. Man is alone. Such universal pessimism and resignation triggers an ethical awareness in Man, which in turn becomes an important step towards constructing self and analytical consciousness. 1800 before our time, the Pharaohs eventually lose their absolute authority as a deity and must share immortality with a larger part of the population, based on an independent moral assessment of their lives, performed as a cumbersome ritual in the underworld after physical death. Osiris and ten judges place a weight on the dead man's heart and decide on immortality. From being the power and wealth that determines immortality, ethics is now the great judge. Man's evil or good deeds are keys. In the same way, but in different expressions, the ethical consciousness spreads in the contemporary and emerges a beginning ethically conscious human being. We glimpse a beginning philosophical interest in the meaning of life. What did antiquity know? Moses was entrusted to Pharaoh and consecrated in Egypt's secret cosmology. Moses must have known about Pharaoh Akhnathon's understanding of God as a transcendent deity, a deity outside of nature itself, a deity superior to nature. With the release of the Jews from slavery in Egypt, the worship of a God of fertility is developed into the worship of a deity standing above nature. Humans become interpreters of God's will and their task is to bring God's will to life. If I say that "the will of God in life" is the construct of an individual self and an analytical consciousness, am I still holding on to a "red thread"? Does the fellowship with the mythical nature expressed in the cave paintings, through the Israelis' liberation from the Pharaohs of Egypt into our modern self with our analytical consciousness, form a line? If so, what happened then in the time after the emigration of the Jews? How did ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia and Judaism create the Modern Man? By knowing the answer to the question, we can better understand Man as lonely, without God on an infinity journey in a dark and cold cosmos, searching for a path home. Watch Jon FUTURES OF MAN aim to "travel where few dare". Our way of traveling is with thought. If quantum physics' notions of entanglement are correct, then thought travels faster than light. If this is true, thoughts will reach our affected readers even at the far end of the Universe, simultaneously. An exploding performance. Follow Futures of Man! In a series of texts, FUTURES OF MAN will reflect on the development of Man from being "the prehistoric man" to becoming both an opportunity and a threat to his own existence. • MAY HUMANS EXTEND THEIR CONSCIOUSNESS?

Imagine a whale, a dog and a bat - three animals that have in common with humans that they take part in the expression of the great variety of lifeforms on planet Earth. What do these three animals and humans have in common? Very little you might say? I can agree, but at least one dimension has the four life forms in common - all have an ingenious system of senses that create specific perceptions of reality. We know that whales navigate the deep sea and find their way to their preferred areas for food and birth, based on sensing the constellations of stars they cannot see with the naked eye. What reality does the whale see and how does this sense of sight work? We know that the dog has a sense of smell that surpasses that of humans. The dog's sense of smell is estimated to be a million times stronger than that of humans. Humans have 5 million cells for processing odor impressions, the dog has up to 150 to 200 million. What does the dog experience that man does not experience? We know that the bat navigates in the dark using echolocation. High-frequency sounds are emitted as sonar screams with a frequency of 20-100 kilohertz. The sound is reflected as an echo and forms an image of the surroundings. Man cannot perceive this level of sound. What reality does the bat experience? What about man? What reality does man perceive? Man's sensory apparatus sets limits to what dimensions of reality man can perceive. The alternative would be an overload of our ability to interpret the impressions and to translate these into mental categories that will make sense. If we could navigate like a whale, smell like a dog and spot insects at night like a bat, our nervous system and cognitive functions would collapse. The human sensory system is perfectly adapted to a 3 dimensional (3D) perception of the physical world man lives in. Length, breadth and height are the constructed reality we work well in. However, our 3D reality involves a delimitation of very complex, interacting and synonymous realities. However, that we can not navigate like a whale, smell like a dog and mock insects at night, does not mean that these realities do not exist for us. We just can not perceive them with our limited senses. Human 3D reality is just one of several parallel realities. We know that the human senses - smell, sight, hearing, taste and feeling, operate within a given framework. Outside the frame, we do not smell, do not see, do not hear, etc. At the same time, we know that the realities we are cut off from exist in parallel with us. Can our path to an expanded consciousness be about an expansion of the area for our limited senses? Religious and philosophical beliefs think so. Among other perspectives, the European philosopher Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925) conveys a view of how we through meditation and contemplation can open up our senses to such an expanded consciousness. I think a little differently about expanded consciousness. Man should not be a whale, a dog or a bat. Man does not need access to these forms of expanded perception and consciousness. Evolutionarily, humans have passed these levels of consciousness and are now adapted to a sense that in its advanced form is specifically human - the ability to cognition, that is, logical and causal mental thought processes based on individual experiences. No animals we know manage this way of mental processing. Is there a key to an expanded consciousness here? The Tibetan Buddhist teacher Milarepa (1052-1135) tells in his writings about the learned self and inherent self of man. Our inherent self is a dimension of ourselves we can reach through an expansion of our consciousness. Exactly what I am interested in, but what does my inherent self entail? The question opens up for an answer that will fill more than what this blog can accommodate. We can follow the question in several directions and gather hidden and forgotten knowledge that can be put together into a bigger picture that can show the way to a future for a greater awareness for man. You will find clues in several of our articles here in FOM Magazine and our aim is to search for an answer. Let me make a reasoning that for the time being can be accommodated by the text you are now reading. In my previous FREE Article "When Man left the cave", I introduce the notion of philosophy that prehistoric man left a connection with nature in order to develop an individual and independent consciousness. From being one with nature, man stood on the outside of nature. This perspective is also very well described by my colleague Ulf Kurkiewicz in our PREMIUM Article “Reconnect with nature and mother Earth”. The development of a consciousness that divided being with nature into a consciousness where man looks at nature from a distance, has both cost man dearly and given a great gain. The loss lies in the fact that man is left "to himself", separated from cohesion with nature. I must leave this specific perspective untouched in this text and carefully point towards next step of our reflections on this topic. The gain however, is the development of a logical and analytical consciousness that has given humans the science of nature, with its possibilities and limitations. At the same time, and this is the perspective I want to pursue, the coherence of prehistoric man with nature in a shared being of the perception of phenomena and unknown causalities (contexts) is still a part of human consciousness, more or less hidden and forgotten for modern man, but still alive in our understanding of intuitive thinking and artistic forms of expression. Can the human ability to intuitively sense causalities by "seeing what has no form, hearing what has no sound and understanding what is not intended", be a sixth sense - an expanded sense related to a phenomenological human cognition - that is our ability to think in and using metaphysical insight and symbols? Some spiritual teachers and philosophers understand it this way - and I support this way of understanding. Is metaphysical causal perception the portal man must develop and pass through in order to gain access to an expanded consciousness? If so, the question arises - how do we proceed? Let me see if I can find room for more reflections on this topic in our future texts - and a way to seek. Stay tuned Jon

  • RECONNECT WITH NATURE AND MOTHER EARTH

Many of us are living our lives in the fast lane. Our calendars are full of meetings, both from work but also from our private lives. We are always, or nearly, online with.... .....interactions from phones, computers, and other devices. Interacting with each other via different social media platforms. All this made possible by the technological evolution. More is to come as our devices and interaction platforms are gathering more and more information about each and every one of us. Taylor-made information pushing for our attention. It is all getting faster and faster, change is the new constant and no stop or wait a second button to see anywhere. Many of us feel stressed with no relief from the constant noise. Some of us even getting ill or depressed by the never stopping jangle. This is all spreading through the population. Is there any liberation available or is medicals and drugs the only way out? Maybe the solution is not so very far away, with no or low cost without any, or few, side effects. A solution well known by our ancestors and by indigenous cultures that still respect and rely on nature spirits to guide them. We have disconnected our selves from nature into a level that we do not even reflect over it anymore. The knowledge of that a deep connection with nature gives both relief and possibility to heal both mentally and physically has been known and accepted for indigenous people for centuries. But most of us have been disconnected to this knowledge for a long period of time. Today, modern, science seems to catch up and accept that nature and spending time in nature and natural environment actually have this effect. New knowledge and new technology makes it possible to measure things that we could not do before. Maybe we will find out that all we actually need already is there, but not yet visible for most of us. More studies and research will be needed but the trail is visible, even for the deniers. Simple steps can lead to great improvement of wellbeing and health. Urban Gardening is one example that has several different positive impacts on that matter. Working with plants and being outdoor triggers both illness prevention and healing responses. Cultivation activities is a great trigger to reach both. Working with your hands in the soil, handling seeds, plants connects you with the earth itself. People who spent 40 minutes walking in a cedar forest had lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol, which is involved in blood pressure and immune-system function. We know that trees and plants emit aromatic compounds called phytoncides that, when inhaled, can spur healthy biological changes. Science has discovered that people who walk through or stay overnight in forests, often exhibit changes in the blood that are associated with protection against cancer, better immunity and lower blood pressure. Looking at a stunning waterfall or undulating countryside, can also elicit feelings of awe that bring a number of health benefits. One study found that people who spent 60 seconds looking up at towering trees were more likely to report feeling awe, after which they were more likely to help a stranger. One expert said “Experiences of awe attune people to things larger than themselves,”. Awe seems to cause individuals to feel less entitled, less selfish, and to behave in more generous and helping ways. Another expert frased it ”The pathway to a better connection between man and nature still has to be explored further but one things is clear. It is not about reading or studying that gives best effect, it is by actually move yourself out into nature.” He also said; ”It is by having an identified contact, emotion, meaning, compassion and engagement with natural beauty as pathways that helped people to feel closer to nature”. Be aware of the moment you are connected with nature, regardless of if you are gardening for your self or in a group, taking a walk in the forest or in any other natural surrounding. Take the opportunity to let go of all the ordinary noise. You actually have a choice. Connecting or reconnecting with nature can also help you to increase your resilience, your ability to face some kind of crisis and come out even stronger after it is over. Both quantitative and qualitative research show that there are a positive connection between peoples relation to nature and individual psychological resilience. Taking the opportunity to reflect over your self, your knowledge of your self or just creating inner peace when being in a garden, in the forest or another natural environment can help you to meet destructive feelings. So if this is evident, even from a scientific point of view, why don’t we just get things started. Take a walk in a park, in a forest or in a garden? Maybe we have made it hard for people living in urban areas by densifying the living area removing parks and trees? Or is the real challenge getting more people involved, despite all the knowledge we have concerning the very real benefits of nature? I would say that it comes down to awareness and consciousness. People need to be aware of their current situation. Take a short break from the constant jangle and take a look in the mirror, Is this what is meant with my life? Without stopping for a very short reflection it is hard to make any conscious decision of how to get even the smallest relief. Forerunners that already made the conscious decision to reconnect with nature need to inspire people to actually be aware of the possible solutions waiting for them. By inspiring people, without condemning, to involve in gardening, visit nature or just looking at nature on a movie, with a friendly nudge might be the thing needed. The gain is so big and the cost of starting is so low. Be conscious! Ulf The beauty of nature is to find everywhere, you just have to stop and look, smell, feel or listen. There is always something beautiful to experience in nature that touch a string deep inside you. It gives you joy and establish a connection between you. Embrace a tree and just take a still moment to take in the smell or take a look up along the trunk and enjoy the view. Soon you will be able to feel the interaction between the two of you. Actually you are made of the same stuff so you share a lot even if you cannot communicate in your normal way. In some aspects the wisdom from our ancestors is shared with us. The connection between them and nature was crucial for their survival. They gathered knowledge about the grand healing power hidden in plants and nature as such. Reverence for all living was part of their view of the world.. • WHEN MAN LEFT THE CAVE

The evolution of consciousness detached Man from nature, he left the cave. Lonely, Man floats scared and abandoned in the Cosmos. Is there a way back to “God Natura “- Mother Earth? In trying to understand consciousness, as a starting point for envisioning consciousness in time - the consciousness of the future, I have had to sought back to where the philosophy discerns that human modern consciousness began to take shape, where the Historical Man left the myths as emotional dimensions themselves were a part of, and into the intellect's isolations of the simplest constituents of the sensed, where man moved into what was to become the modern intellect. In order to become "The Modern Man" as an intermediate stage to become "The Future Man", evolution brought Man out of his oneness with nature. Established as a separate being, the evolution pushes Man further into the Cosmos, to unknown destinations and possibilities. The purpose of evolution is the development of consciousness and I am concerned with how Man can be a co-creator in his evolution of consciousness. Therefore, I must understand the evolution of consciousness - I must know what to co-create and how. You can understand me when I sigh over the size of the theme, because where do I begin my journey? In fact, I have solved the question for my own part, at least well enough to be able to begin the journey, a whole other question is how I will be able to communicate my travel experiences to you in the form of such short sketches as my texts are. I start by opening the door directly into the Middle Ages. The medieval natural philosophy ties together the pre-history Mother Earth, Plato's teachings on the ideas of all ages, the ancient ideals of genderless beauty, the Christian church's interpretation of nature as a picture of God's being, and the medieval incipient integration of "God" as both a transcendent (incomprehensible) ) and an immanent (understandable) force. Here, in this evolution of an incipient philosophy of nature for modern Man, alchemy emerges as a doctrine of how precious metals could be produced through physical processes, based on properties of matter itself. What is it about the alchemy that fascinates me and that invites me into a closer investigative dialogue? Where man was either referred to the Church's explanation based on a transcendent and therefore an intellectually incomprehensible god or on the philosopher's mechanistic (intellectual analysis) detached from a divinity, the alchemy offers a third way - the understanding of nature as consciousness through nature itself. Behind the visible nature lies a hidden metaphysical nature and for the uninitiated it is kept secret. The alchemical exploration was an art shaped on exploring of the nature's inner premise. By going into nature, the alchemy sought to understand nature and its creative power. Alchemy evolved as an art form and became, alongside church teachings and philosophers' thoughts, a third perspective on establishing human beings in a relationship to lost nature. Still, it is not the alchemy my short text and my texts in the future should be about, it is a gateway. I shall stay by a side of the alchemy that is not so well known to most modern people today, but which filled ancient Egyptians with the greatest focus; the knowledge of a universal unity in all beings - the inherent creative force in its 9 forms of being. Let me start my next free article with a parallel knowledge of the alchemy; the Natural Magic. Enjoy Jon

  • THE ARCHEOLOGY OF THE BODY

"The archeology of the body" may seem strange? What is a body where an archaeologist can make his excavations? I speak symbolic language, my friend. In this month's Premium article ... ...I will present to you a method for how you can seek a deeperknowledge of your Spiritual Self. Let me first agree on the framework for my text. Futures of Man is a community where we seek to understand how Man can seek out, attract and implement his desired future scenario. This text is a tool in such a context. The purpose of evolution is the development of consciousness. With its highly developed ability for self-reflection, Man can be involved in his own evolution. To get into such a position, Man must learn to get to know himself. Based on different forms of consciousness, all life forms live spiritual lives. The various forms of consciousness are united in a living universe - our cosmos. Man does not get to know himself by asking himself, for who gives the answer? Man finds the key in seeking out and exploring an unknown side of himself, a side that is both hidden and forgotten for people in our time. The side of Man himself, which can provide the answer to the question "who am I ?”, has many names but is little explored. In my world of understanding and therefore in this article, I give it the name "Higher Self". Man's Higher Self, is a level of consciousness the individual can seek out and learn to understand. How does he proceed? Spirit and matter All matter is spirit in its lightest form and spirit is matter in its heaviest form, the understanding is found in the density of matter and in the form of oscillations of energy. In such a picture, only one reality exists; it is both spiritual and material. You can dive deeper into this perspective by studying former Premium articles among the one “Energy, vibration and communication”, written by my respected colleague Jarle Berghammer. So, that is why you, my friend, are both spirit and matter. The way of the spirit into the dense and heavy matter is "the will of life to victory." To achieve its purpose, the spirit needs to dress the matter, almost comparable to a diver who is to explore the depths of the ocean or an astronaut who is to explore a foreign atmosphere, wears a suit for protection. The challenge for the human spirit is that the body it clothes on has its own autonomous subconsciousness and therefore its own forms of will. What the spirit wants is not necessarily the same as what the biological and socially constructed sub-consciousnesses want. Spirit as the lightest form of matter, strives to reach the coarse and slow form of matter. Here a tension relationship arises, a contradiction so to say. Symbolically, I explain the pain of the body as the language of the soul. When the body aches the soul speaks. Life as an initiation to expanded consciousness The human physical body is a beautiful, intelligent and self-conscious "tool" for the spirit on its journey in a heavy and inhospitable atmosphere. The human body is endowed with functions and autonomous patterns of action that have their own will. The will may appear to be in opposition to the will of the spirit, and the opposition may have a specific purpose. The path to an expanded consciousness is a path of initiation. Evolution has to experience, make mistakes and create changes. Therefore, every human life is a spiritual path of initiation paved with obstacles. Each of the obstacles must be identified and resolved by transforming into possibilities. The way of the spirit through matter is symbolically understood as a way of initiation. If you choose to explore the possibilities of life, identify the obstacles and find ways where you resolve the obstacles, you live a life in spiritual search and you expand your consciousness. Whether you are a spiritual outreach or not, evolution will lead you to trials where you will be confronted with choices. You can choose to say no to the challenges or you can choose to say yes. I work with people who ask me "Jon, is this all?" - and they point to the life they live. My answer is always "No, life is so much more". It all depends on whether you seek the path of initiation to an expanded consciousness or not. Archeology of the body The way of the spirit into the heavy matter is a path of initiation for the individual soul. From time to time the soul is able to free itself from gravity, expressed as the autonomous and partly self-conscious obstacles in the human body. The soul attains freedom for its evolutionary purpose by passing through the experiences embedded in the heaviest form of consciousness, the physical three-dimensional matter. By doing so, the soul leaves its footprints in the body, but how? Man has several bodies. Around the physical body, the energy body exists. Almost like a "wrap", the energy body encloses the physical skeleton, muscles, blood system and nerves, and creates the conditions for life as a continuous movement. The connective tissue is the body's major highway for transporting energy and consciousness. When the soul attains its time-limited freedom in the form of access to matter, it leaves traces in the connective tissue and creates the body's memory. The discoveries of the soul are stored as phenomena of memory. Symbolically, I can compare to a computer that stores documents and images in its memories. From there, the memories can be retrieved and viewed. Therapists who work with shock and trauma will agree with me. Shock and trauma accumulate in the body's connective tissue and prevent the free flow of energy, which in turn impairs the quality of both the physical and mental life of the injured person. For me, the development of expanded consciousness is about developing the sensory cognition. Therefore, I help my students search for the spiritual phenomena in the body's memory. The experiences that tell about the soul's discoveries in matter. The soul's footprint in the connective tissue accumulates in the body's memory and is an intuitive-causal part of consciousness. The body's memory is the "inside" of consciousness and should not be confused with the intellect which is the "outside" of consciousness. You will not find the footprint of the soul in the body's memory by asking your intellect. The question will not be understood and therefore not answered. You must ask through a spiritual initiation into the world of phenomena. Such an inner journey is possible and is part of Futures of Man's program DAWN - a new path to self-insight and expanded consciousness. The hidden and forgotten knowledge If you read the article with a symbolic language as a starting point, you may find that the text has a message for you. The sciences of nature will definitely be skeptical of my performance. Such a contradiction does not make me nervous, on the contrary. It is expected. For those of you to whom the text speaks and perhaps evokes memories, I would say - this was known by the ancient scientific cultures from before antiquity. The Russian philosopher, mystic and spiritual teacher Georg Ivanovich Gurdjieff (1866-1949) discovered in his search for a path to expanded consciousness, a hidden and forgotten doctrine. The framework for this article does not allow for a closer presentation of Gurdjieff's teachings, but I would like to clarify what he expressed. The individual cannot find the path of initiation alone. It can only be found with one who has "learned to learn" the spiritual path to know. If Gurdjieff is right, we need a community like Futures of Man, and other communities, where we can teach each other the path of initiation into an expanded consciousness. Good luck on your journey - and remember that you can always seek advice from Futures of Man. Jon The mind speaks through the mouth, the soul speaks through the body. When your body is in pain, you can be sure that a higher level of consciousness in you is trying to convey a message to you. To decode the language, you have to learn the language, and it is actually possible. The soul can be understood as a "spiritual probe" that lands on Earth, for a purpose. The soul's job is to get its "boots on the ground". In the attempt to complete its mission, the soul leaves traces in the body's memories. The archeology of the body is about "digging out" the footsteps of the soul. They hide in your phenomenological memory and they speak to you. If you want to develop yourself, you have to know yourself. The problem is, you can not ask yourself "who am I?". Few people understand this. The question must be asked to a consciousness that is "higher" than the one you "are". It is possible, but you must know "whom" to ask, how to ask and you must learn the language in which the answer is given. All this is possible for the applicant. • THE THREE PORTALS OF A FUTURE LANGUAGE

"Get me a language that turns attention away from measurement and control, to support and development." The quote is taken from the meeting with the head of a major Norwegian municipality in 2015. My response was overwhelming - a "new language" means a "new reality". The CEO’s performance was this; Today's language in leadership is designed for measurement and control, not for support and development. Today's language in leadership is actually developed for an industrial and military purpose. Such a language carries the DNA of power and is not a language for future learning and development. Since I have both military and industrial backgrounds, the boss's starting point has been easy for me to understand. A language that speaks "support and development" rather than "measurement and control", is a language that has put away the grammar of force. I went to work and took inspiration from the good parents. The caring mother or father, raises their child through a language that supports and develops. My challenge was to replace the grammar of force with linguistic constructions that involve and empower. In a text like what you are reading now, I have to shorten myself to limiting certain aspects of the language I performed. I have chosen to give you an insight into the IDA language’s three modalities. Perhaps the most complicated side of IDA, which by the way is a language filled with effective tools. IDA is the language of the future because the language in its dynamics and essence is feminine. Here I am by one of the modalities of IDA - femininity. But first a few words about modality. I understand modality as a form of preparedness, an opportunity that can be activated in a specific context. Femininity is such a contingency that can be activated in a linguistic context with an intentional desire. Let's see what I mean by the term. Femininity - as an executive source The term is in my use, liberated from gender. Femininity is a spiritual characteristic of all matter. Very simply, femininity in a spiritual context, synonymous with polarity, is the ability of matter to move. In short, I can say that femininity is the birth-giving and therefore moving source of the universe. The language of the future will be a language that redeems life, moves, develops, challenges, involves and empowers. The modality's tag-line is: From a spiritual interior to a physical exterior Let me go to another of the modalities of language. Ecology - language as an innovative source The term is in my use, liberated from politics and science. Ecology is a spiritual trait in the relationship between people. Speaking of ecology, IDA acts as a recycling source. Ecology is the modality that makes the difficult but necessary conversation possible. By using linguistic tools, you should be able to harvest what is wrong and at the same time add what is right. The tag-line of modality is: Harvest of the surplus The third of the modalities is: Globality - language as a metaphysical force The term is in my use, a metaphor liberated from power in its mechanical form. Globality is a spiritual attribute in the understanding of human dignity. All matter is conscious and all matter must be respected in a perspective of evolution. Spirit is human in a material form and represents the evolution of consciousness in a particularly high form and is therefore also protected by universal human rights. The tagline of modality is: First the subject - then the object IDA consists of three languages. The language of intuition, which is the language we speak for "hearing what has no sound, seeing what has no form and understanding what is not thought". The language of discourse, which is the language we speak when we agree on what the language should be about, framework and content. The language of the analysis, which is the language we speak when the conversation is to be planned and balanced. • FOOD SHORTAGE IN THE WORLD OF PLENTY

We know that the population is growing rapidly even if there are signs that the growth will be flatten out around 11 billion people. We also know that feeding this population will be a large problem to solve. If we shall do this without destroying the habitats for other species living together with us on planet Earth the challenge is even higher and more complicated. The challenges we need to handle are several and one is the loss of land optimized for farming, another is the increase of natural impacts from rain or drought, decreasing the level of harvest. Yet another one is the industrial type of farming and animal husbandry used at many places. Creating depleted soil and large use of pesticides leaking over to anyone eating the crop. Or the large use of antibiotics within animal husbandry. Is it all dark then? I will argue no. There are lot of things happening due to development of technology for the agricultural sector. Artificial Intelligence technologies can help us in a variety of areas. It could be to yield healthier crops, control pests, monitor soil and growing conditions. The AI systems can also help us to improve harvest quality and accuracy by detecting and target weeds and come up with suggestions for proper actions. Another important area is to help with seasonal forecasting. This is particularly important for small farms in developing countries as these farms produce 70% of the worlds crops. With less people able and willing to tend to the land to agricultural work, AI agriculture Bots could be part of the solution. They work in parallell with human workforce and appear in different forms. As they can harvest crops at a higher volume and faster pace they can help to reduce costs for farms by working round the clock. The use of Chat bots help answer a variety of questions and provide advice and recommendations. We are also adding methods and technologies for farming vertical instead of farming only horizontal. By this latter action we can increase the available farming area almost infinitely. Singapore is one area where this is blooming due to high dependence of import of agricultural products. Jack NG, CEO of one of the companies has invented a systems that revolves the plant boxes slowly to give them light as well as water. Most remarkably is his comment ” Not too much movement. Too much movement frightens the plants”. Something to consider deeply. There are several examples of vertical farming all over the world. Another angle of this is that you can move some of the production to the places where most of the population actually lives and minimize the need of transportation of food across the globe. By combining use of hydroponic and aquaponic systems you can decrease the use of water, diminish the use of fertilizer and diminish the use of antibiotics or pesticides. Letting fish live in the water that are beneath the plants you can reuse the waste from the fish them selves and from the food for the fish and use it as manure for the plants. Reducing the use of fresh water is actually a very important thing. Water as well as food might become a very scarce resource if we do not change the way we use it today. What new challenges will indoor and/or urban indoor farming bring to us? One of them is the use of energy. If we have to use artificial light to grow plants indoor we need to do this in an energy effective way. If we want to grow plants in areas where we have cold temperature on the outside, we need warm the ”green house” in a smart way. Will the loss of real sunlight have a long term impact of the indoor agriculture? Do we need to find solutions of transferring the sunlight unfiltered into indoor agriculture facilities? Yet another angle to consider is to take care of the food we already produce. Take care of it instead of putting it into the bin as soon as it starts to look less fresh or because we are getting close to best before date. We know there is a huge wastage of the food across the world and by using AI systems with the right algorithms, we can adress some of the areas of this problem too. If we in addition uses our senses, instead of leaning towards an invented standard of when things are fresh or not, we will at the same time save time and money but but also leading to a sustainable development. One question you can ask yourself is why we need to end up in this kind of position? Being forced to reconsider how we do things with the knife on our throats. Why do we not consider the ways we behave under more controlled conditions? In my opinion we have got used, at least many of us, to get whatever food we want anytime we want it. Not giving thought of the efforts made to produce and transport it. We have not considered the long term impact of environment, health and life. Just carrying on blindfolded. As we have seen this method will not work. What can we learn from the young generation that eventually will become the ones who decide? They seem to be aware that their heritage will not be the most beneficial one. What they seek is a conscious approach to a sustainable place to live and thrive on. A place where all living beings have a right to its environment. We can reach this without to give up all the convenience we got used to. We just need to take conscious decisions based on what we really need, not from what might be available or what our neighbor might have. Conscious decisions that we as human beings can influence how we do things. Be Conscious Ulf Caption 1 Ensuring an environment for all living beings has to be the natural choice when we choose the way forward. Leave our egoistic view of the world and recognize that we are just one of many species with the right to exist. Caption 2 Our soil will be full of life if we let it. Life that will help us to grow crops and vegetables free of dangerous chemicals. A soil that eventually will give us the possibility to leave a living soil to the generations coming after us. Caption 3 Water means life and is a precious gift on planet Earth. We need to take care of our life giving fresh water in a responsible way. Using it for life bringing and life sustaining purposes for all of us here. Not just for a chosen few.
