Futures to come expects us to define leadership from a different perspective of consciousness than we do today.
In the coming week no 52, my Instagram posts will reflect on Leadership. I do the reflections through quotes and captions, linked to illustrative images. Feel free to follow me on https://www.instagram.com/mostadjon/.
Our present consciousness is developed by a leadership focused on conquer and war. Leadership's most important tool today is based on a military industrial language where grammar, symbols and rhetorical constructions speak force. The language of force is the most important tool of our limited consciousness. The limiting consciousness is unsuitable in meeting the three paradigmal challenges I outline below.
Future development require people to change leadership in at least three paradigms of their lives.
The first paradigm will concern learning. Driven by megatrends that move the orientation from concrete to symbols, the future's human being will be immaterially oriented. The human race of the future will develops its consciousness through learning that supports the intangible orientation. Future people will be developers of symbolic-intuitive action behaviors.
The other paradigm will be about organizing. Driven by megatrends that at the same time stimulate collectivization, individualization and personal construction, the future's human being will largely be independent of a traditional work organization. The future of the future will develops its consciousness through integration between work and self-realization in an unorganized context . Instead of being led, human beings will develop co-operative leadership.
The third paradigm will be about communication. Driven by megatrends that stimulate the development of artificial intelligence. Future artificial intelligence will be both emotional and self-evolving. The human race of the future will develops its consciousness through communication and co-operation with logically-rational and emotional humanoids. Instead of speaking in words from an impulse driven and cognitive limited perspective, people will communicate in energies, from spiritual inner levels of awareness to physical external expressions.
How to take leadership in such a three-dimensional paradigm?
Leadership of the futures speaks the forceless language, the language that supports and develops. A feminine language for a feminine leadership. A leadership that sees what does not form, hears what does not sound and understand what is not thought. Leadership of the futures has three linguistic frameworks, carried out by three modalities and speaks in three times. Let me briefly explain.
Leadership for the future speaks the language of intuition, discourse and analysis. The language of intuition speaks the causal aestetics grammar and communicates with silent and hidden knowledge. Discourse's language speaks the language of the metacommunication and deals with the context and rhetoric of the conversation. The language of the analysis speaks the language of the planning and matches the assumptions, direction and instruments for the conversation that will be coming.
Leadership for the future carries the global, ecological and feminine modality. Global modality is the holistic view as source. The ecological modality is the sustainability as source. The feminine modality is the mentoring motion as source.
Leadership for the future reflects past, present and future. Reflections of past are the assumptions of the premise. Here leadership speaks of known sizes. Reflections of the present are the moments of time. Here leadership speaks of deep automated insight. Reflections about the future are the possibilities of the hypothesis. Here leadership speaks of the imagination's free framework.
Leadership acts like creating. The Bible tells us that God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was empty, it was dark and the Spirit of God hovered over the waters. "Then God said, there will be light! And it became light. " I pay particular attention to the text, "Then God said ...". Thus, the word must have existed before the light. The word lit light and the universe was created.
My ideas about leadership are about creating the forceless leadership, in myself as well as between people I interact with.
